Otvorila je, kaže, nalog na ovoj društvenoj mreži kako bi govorila o plus sajz ženama i podstakla pozitivan pogled na plus sajz žene, ali kaže da se tamo susrela sa takvom mržnjom da je tri puta gasila nalog.

- Mnogo je poruka koje glase da inspirišem ljude i da su zbog mene zavoleli svoje telo. Međutim, žalosno je što ima i previše onih koji mi upućuju uvrede, pretnje i kletve - kaže ona za australijske medije.

- Najgore mi je bilo kada sam dobijala poruke od pratilaca da mi žele da dobijem kancer zato što kačim svoje fotografije. Tada sam obično gasila naloge - kaže ona.

A few months before I turned 17 I began a relationship with a man in his early 20’s. I was mentally and emotionally vulnerable (personal things happening in my life), I was not a ‘typically’ attractive teen compared to the girls I went to school with and it was some of the first romantic male attention I had received. It was one of the first times someone wanted to publicly and openly date me. Someone who was quick, almost immediate to declare love and affection to me. . . The relationship quickly turned manipulative and emotionally abusive. He openly flirted with my friends. Some reciprocated and engaged in inappropriate conversation with him and some came to me immediately. I was the crazy one when I brought it up. He constantly ignored me. Used his social media for hours while I waited him to respond to one message. Openly flirted and would privately contact other women in front of me. He made me feel I was crazy to even bring it up. . . . He made fun of my appearance behind closed doors and eventually began to do so in company. Once saying a child was crying because they saw my face - in front of people!? He got ballsy towards the end. Threats of suicide when I wanted to leave. Sexual abuse. Extreme commitment in order to keep me from ending things. The exact words after accepting his proposal (on a CLIFF) were “if you said no I would have jumped”. . . . More suicide threats when I tried to end things again. His family demonising me for ‘causing him to feel suicidal’. Kidnapping (yes you read right, actually taking me to his home against my will, locking the doors and taking my phone when I tried to call my dad) to prevent me from going to my own home after trying to break up. He and his family then sat down with me for a ‘meeting’ to change my mind. I had to agree with what they were saying to be able to get home. I did not drive and he lived in a difficult to access suburb (at 11:30pm) without a car. No phone service at his house to call for help either. . . (**continued in comments**)

Najveći skandal izazvala je jedna njena golišava fotografija nakon koje je i dobila najviše kletvi.

- Tri puta sam ove godine morala da napustim svoje naloge na društvenim mrežama zbog pretnji i uvreda koje sam dobila, a ljudi su mi želeli i rak zbog jedne fotografije. Ja se inače ubrajam u sitnije plus sajz modele i ne smem ni da zamislim kakve poruke dobijaju krupnije devojke i sa čime se susreću svakog dana. Za to morate da imate baš debelu kožu i jak želudac. Međutim, ja sam se vratila uprkos trolovima jer želim da prenesem svoju poruku i jer ima sasvim dovoljno ljudi koji cene ono što radim i koji mi šalju poruke podrške i ohrabrenja - kaže ona.
